A Ford Technician Love Story

NFT News Feb 14 2025 When becoming a Ford Technician, meeting and forming connections with other technicians is expected, but for Jamey Lebran, he also met his future wife! 20-Year Senior Master Technician Jamey Lebran and his wife, Melissa Lebran, attended the 2024 Motor City Homecoming together and shared the story of how Ford brought them together.

Jamey was always interested in mechanics. As a teenager, he worked with his grandpa fixing lawn mowers at his repair shop.

“This intrigued me to learn how engines run,” Jamey said.

However, Melissa found her way to Ford by taking another route.

“I actually went to school for journalism and got a job as a Service Advisor,” Melissa explained. “It was supposed to be temporary, but I got sucked into staying!”

Cupid must have been working his magic at Olympia Fields Ford, now Sutton Ford in Matteson, Illinois because the two met in 1999 and have been together ever since.

“We’re going on 24 years of marriage now,” Jamey said.

Being able to share in each other’s professional accomplishments has been something they both have enjoyed working together all these years. They exclaim how fun it is to attend the events that Ford Lincoln Top Techs puts on for the technicians together.

“It’s nice growing together and seeing the success we’ve had together,” Melissa said.” “We don’t understand how other people aren’t able to work together as husband and wife like we are.”

“She’s my best friend,” Jamey said with a smile.
